However, there is no doubt that the coolest and most memorable role she’s played is Nine Ball, the smart and sassy hacker that joins the team in Ocean’s Eight, where Sandra Bullock’s Debbie Ocean pulls off a massive heist. Selena Gomez also got her start on the Disney Channel but transitioned pretty much entirely into music. She dedicated her career to making popular songs, but recently, she’s decided to get more seriously back into the acting game.

She was in Spring Breakers and voice-acted in Hotel Transylvania in 2012, but she’s coming back stronger than ever and has a television series coming out in 2021. However, fans really should head over to the hidden gem of The Dead Don’t Die, where Adam Driver and Bill Murray take on zombies in a small town. Gomez proved she was back to play in this satire of society and life and death.

With small movie roles here and there, her acting career is finally taking off.

After starring in the crime drama television series, Big Little Lies, she made her way over to the popular teen dystopian movie franchise, Divergent, where she stars alongside Shailene Woodley in a world sorted into factions. If fans aren’t convinced yet, she’s also set to be the new Catwoman.

After that, she starred in the musical Cats, but in between, she was the gorgeous and mystical Rosemary in the novel adaptation of the dystopian teen drama The Giver, playing piano and all. Fans look forward to seeing her in the new David O. Russell project and her time in Hollywood is far from over.

Justin Timberlake needs no introduction, and he most recently might be most famous for his voice-acting and feature song in Trolls. Butfans should also check out Inside Llewyn Davis, where he sings alongside Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac.

Or for a romantic comedy, he and Mila Kunis are hilarious in Friends With Benefits. However, his best role to date might be as Sean Parker in The Social Network, where he goes toe-to-toe with Jesse Eisenberg’s Mark Zuckerberg during the creation of Facebook.

Jennifer Lopez – Hustlers (2019)

This singer and dancer was, originally, “Jenny from the Block,” but this international pop star has since made huge waves in the industry, and there’s probably not a single person in entertainment that doesn’t know her name. And for this pop star, too, conquering music wasn’t enough.

Lopez had some acting roles in the 2000s, like the sci-fi flick The Cell or her memorable biopic performance in Selena, but over two decades later, she proved she still has what it takes. She led the hit film, Hustlers, where fans can see her dancing and acting come together in perfect harmony, as strip club employees turn the tables on their rich clients. This role is undoubtedly her fiercest and most fun to date.
